Artificial intelligence systems may be winning chess matches and games of Jeopardy now, but will they become benevolent helpers as in Star Trek and Interstellar, or merciless overlords as in the Terminator franchise?

In this episode we discuss the pros and cons of artificial intelligence, particularly Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) which has the potential to eradicate mankind. Should mankind continue its development of artificial intelligence systems, and how can we prevent them from taking control?
